教育经历: l 1982年7月:以优异成绩毕业于重庆大学机械工程二系。 l 1986年7月:获得重庆大学生物力学与生物流变学硕士学位并留校从事生物力学科研与教学工作。 l 1990年9月–1992年9月:获中英友好奖学金资助赴英国斯查克莱德大学生物工程专业访学。 l 1992年9月–1998年7月:在英国斯查克莱德大学生物工程系攻读并获博士学位。
工作经历: l 1988年9月–1990年9月:任重庆大学生物工程中心讲师,并担任重庆维多生物工程技开发公司总经理。 l 1998-2000:担任英国斯查克莱德大学生物工程系助理研究员。 l 2000-2004:赴加拿大达豪斯大学(Dalhousie University)生物医学工程学院从事博士后研究,并担任细胞力学实验室主任。 l 2004-2007:担任美国哈佛大学公共卫生学院研究员。 l 2007-2012:担任重庆大学生物工程学院教授、博士导师;重庆大学“国家985工程”科技创新平台-生物流变学与基因调控新技术研究院院长;生物流变科学与技术教育部重点实验室主任;重庆大学生物医学工程国家一级重点学科带头人;重庆市生物医学工程学科学术带头人;重庆市首批高校创新团队负责人;加拿大哈利法克斯生物医学有限公司科学顾问、名誉董事等职务。
